What We Do
Core Values
We nurture youth by creating safe spaces, trusted relationships, and programs that build confidence, skills and good character
We build pathways to success through academics, athletics, and hands-on leadership.
We guide members from preschool through adolescence with mentorship and steady support.
We care for our Nantucket community through meaningful relationships and a daily commitment to the island we serve.

Core Values in Action
Early Childhood Education
Our licensed Club Jr. preschool serves children ages 2 to 5 with a play-based program focused on early learning, social emotional development, and school readiness.
Quality Programs and Athletics
We offer year round and summer camp programs that keep kids active, healthy, engaged, and learning—through sports, arts, academics, and STEAM. More than 1,350 youth participate annually.
Safe Space to Grow
Our Club is a dependable place where kids feel supported, respected, and free to be themselves. We are licensed by the Nantucket Health Department and meet all Massachusetts public health standards. Families may review our background check, health care, and discipline policies upon request.
Community Resource
We are a trusted partner to island families, providing care, support, and opportunities beyond the school day. Events like the Summer Groove and Fall BBQ bring the community together.

Commitment to Safety
The safety and wellbeing of our members is our top priority.
We uphold the highest standards of child protection and maintain a culture of safety across every aspect of Club operations.

Key elements of our safety commitment include:
- Comprehensive Policies and Zero Tolerance
We enforce a zero tolerance policy for child abuse, misconduct, or unsafe behavior. Our staff and volunteers are thoroughly screened and trained, and all incidents are reported and managed with transparency and accountability. - Mandatory Training and Annual Safety Assessments
All staff and volunteers complete required annual training in child abuse prevention, mandated reporting, and supervision. We conduct annual safety assessments to continuously improve our practices. - Safe Facilities, Supervision, and Technology Use
Club members are always supervised by trained staff, and we maintain secure facilities supported by video surveillance. Members and staff adhere to strict guidelines for safe and appropriate use of technology, with clear rules around privacy and digital conduct. - Partnerships and Community Resources
We collaborate with national and local partners such as Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Nantucket Cottage Hospital, and the Nantucket Family Resource Center to ensure best-in-class safety practices and mental health support. - Open Reporting and Support Resources
We encourage members, staff, and families to report any safety concerns. A confidential 24-hour Child Safety Hotline is available through our national partnership with Praesidium: 866-607-SAFE (7233) or SafeClub@Praesidiuminc.com.
