Meghan Hughes Scholarship
Made available by the Hughes family, the Meghan Hughes scholarship is a $5,000 award to two Nantucket high school seniors that are in good academic standing and have previous volunteer/work experience with the Nantucket Boys & Girls Club. This scholarship is provided in support of the applicant's pursuit of higher education.

Offered in memory of Meghan Hughes, a 2017 graduate of Fairfield University and devoted Boys & Girls Club volunteer with both the Glen Cove, NY and Bridgeport, CT Club chapters.
Meghan first came to Nantucket as a young child and returned in 2011. It quickly became her favorite place on planet Earth. She worked summers at Lily Pulitzer and Vineyard Vines, before pursuing a career in fashionin NYC. Her laughter was contagious, and her kindness knew no bounds. She found such joy in being an older sister to Ashleen and Colette. Meghan's spirit continues to inspire us to live fully and love deeply every day.
